PRODUCTION DESIGN, BRANDING, ART DIRECTION
Work done as a contractor on the Square Banking team. In my role as a Production Designer, I worked closely with Art Directors and Design Technologists to ensure optimal brand consistency. This included adapting design across various channels and locales, template creation, design systems, email build, and QA. I also stepped in for Art Direction for web pages, video, and lifecycle emails.
Due to the nature of my contract work at Square, I am unable to share working files or provide insight into behind-the-scenes processes and concept development. Below are descriptions of my role in the projects as well as live links to the web pages, emails, and a video example.

Web Pages
For the web pages, I did Production Design and worked with the Art Directors to create mobile versions, suggested improvements to the existing creative, localized copy and design for 5 locales, worked with the Engineer on the page build, and stepped in for Art Directors on parental leave for concepting and design.

I worked on design systems, and also stepped in for the Art Director while she was on parental leave to finalize templates and branding for these monthly sends.
Lifecycle Emails
I refreshed outdated existing creative based on new brand guidelines and imagery and worked closely with the Creative Director and Copy Director on approvals. After these were approved, I built these out for 2 locales in Taxi, sent the creative out to the team for QA, and then handed these off to the Engineer for launch. There were a total of 50+ emails.
Video
This video example is a project I worked on while the Art Director was on parental leave. I worked with the copywriter on the storyboards, chose creative assets to feature, detailed the animation specs, and worked with the Marketing team and Creative Director on any feedback before sending the files over to our third party vendor.
